Miami based Company leader in plastics and recycled raw materials industry is looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT for its team in Medellín.

As BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, you will contribute to the growth of our company by driving and executing the commercial strategy, attracting new customers, exploring new market opportunities to expand business and increase profitability.

The purpose of this position is to develop and implement detailed sales plans to ensure individual and team goals are met by focusing on the company’s sales objectives. Responsibilities include managing customer relationships, generating sales leads, executing appropriate sales calls, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and providing after-sales support to develop new accounts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, international business, business administration, administrative and/or commercial related careers. Sales certification or similar is a plus.
  2. 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in plastic raw materials, recycling, or metallurgical industries. Technical knowledge in materials and plastic transformation processes is a plus.
  3. Experience in the use of CRM / ERP systems, KPI’s metrics, analysis, and management of commercial information.
  4. Excellent skills in prospecting new customers, closing sales and customer service.
  5. Ability to perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
  6. High emotional intelligence, perseverance, discipline, and commercial and market orientation.
  7. Excellent organizational skills, multitasking, prioritization criteria and optimal time management.
  8. Strong interpersonal, professional and communication skills to quickly establish relationships with customers.
  9. Bilingual (English). Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. C1 level proficiency required.
